Peter R. Ryder
Chief Executive Officer

Residing and investing in Vietnam since 1992, Peter is an expert on Vietnam's rapidly emerging real estate and equities markets. Peter serves as the Co-Chairman and CEO of Indochina Capital and the CEO of Indochina Land, the real estate division of Indochina Capital. Since Indochina Capital's establishment in 1999, Peter has played an active management role in nearly all aspects of the company's business. Peter was formerly head of the Asia-Pacific real estate finance group for Salomon Brothers where he spent 9 years in Tokyo and New York (1983 to 1991). As Director of Asia-Pacific real estate (1987-1990), Peter's group was responsible for US$3 billion of worldwide financing and brokering investments in a wide range of property types. Peter was the chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi, Vietnam from 1999 to 2001 and served as a board member from 1995 to 2006. Peter received a Masters of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Beloit College in 1977.

Rick Mayo-Smith

Rick has been living and investing in Asia for the past 25 years and has specifically been involved in Vietnam related investment activities since 1992. Rick is the Co-Chairman of Indochina Capital and overseeing the formulation of Indochina Infrastructure, a newly organized division of Indochina Capital focused on Vietnam's environmental, transportation and social infrastructure. Since Indochina Capital's establishment in 1999, Rick has played an active management role in nearly all aspects of the company's business and served as the CEO of Indochina Land from 2005 to 2007. Rick served as Morgan Stanley's advisor in the Indochina region from 1995-1998 and, from 1998-1999, was contracted by Citicorp Capital, the direct investment arm of Citicorp, to source deal flow and conduct due diligence on investment opportunities in the Indochina region Rick was the founding Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. He received a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Tony X. Diep

Prior to joining Indochina Land, Tony was a Vice President of JP Morgan in New York and also worked in the Equities division of Goldman Sachs. Tony has a M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, a B.Sc. from the Wharton School and a B.A. from University of Pennsylvania.

Oai Thanh Nguyen
Co-Chief Investment Officer, Southern Region

Moving on from 2 years as CFO to his present position, Oai has over 8 years of experience in real estate fund management. During those 8 years, Oai worked as an Investment Analyst and Fund Controller for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc., a subsidiary of Lend Lease Corporation, Australia, which had US$25 billion assets under management in real estate investments and advisory services. As a Fund Controller, he was responsible for a US$2 billion portfolio, overseeing accounting, reporting and financial analysis for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc.

Brian Pham

Brian Pham has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Sales and Marketing. Before joining Indochina Land, Brian was the Vice-General Director, in charge of Finance, Sales and Marketing for V-TRAC Caterpillar, a company with US$60 million in revenue and double digit growth per year in Vietnam. Brian also served as General Director/CFO of ACNielsen/VNU, one of the largest market research companies in the world, in Vietnam. Brian has been working in Vietnam since 1996. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston and also holds a Master's Degree in Management, Marketing and International Business.

Nguyen Quang Ninh

Ninh has 16 years of experience with foreign investment, government relations, licensing and project management in Vietnam. Ninh currently is the General Director of Indochina Resorts Limited, the Vietnamese entity which owns our flagship resort, The Nam Hai, and has overall responsibility for government relations in the Central Coast and Southern regions.

Anthony deVittorio

Tony is a civil engineer with 30 years experience in the real estate and construction industries managing major building and civil engineering projects and business operations in the United States, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and the Bahamas. His projects include world-class high-rises such as the Williams Tower in Houston, Texas and luxury hotels and resorts such as the Four Seasons Resort in Great Exuma, Bahamas.

Baron Ah Moo

Baron is a 20 year veteran of the hospitality industry and has lived and worked in Asia, the US, Mexico, and the Pacific Islands. Before joining Indochina Hotels and Resorts, Baron served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where he oversaw a US$250 million renovation of the 2,000 room property. Baron has also held executive management positions and consulted for Marriott International, the Intercontinental Hotel Group and the Landry's Restaurant Group and was responsible for the opening and renovation of hospitality projects in Honolulu, San Francisco, the Marianas Islands and Vietnam. Baron is also the Chairman of the Tourism Working Group for the Vietnam Business Forum, and previously served on the Hotel Advisory Board for the National Business Travel Association. A Native Hawaiian, Baron holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Management from the University of San Francisco and received his Master's Degree in Hospitality Marketing and Finance from Cornell University.

David Nguyen

David has 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, holding positions in Asia, Australia, Middle East, Europe and South America. Before joining Indochina Land, David worked as Finance Director for a number of Hyatt International properties throughout Australia and Asia, including the Park Hyatt Saigon. In addition to various executive management positions within Hyatt International, David was also an internal auditor for the Chicago-based operator, overseeing compliance issues, operational restructuring and management agreements. A native of Australia, David received a B.A. from Canberra University.
